The 2022 Tackling Trauma Conference will feature the impacts of trauma on individuals, families, the workplace and the community. This will include presentations from agencies and trauma experts that are addressing trauma and bringing awareness and education to the mainstream society. KEYNOTE: Dr. Christine Gibson

Christine is a family physician in Calgary, Canada with a background in equity work, medical education, and global health. A skilled facilitator and speaker, she engages in building individual and community resilience. Her writing creates the woven narrative between her interests – wellbeing, trauma recovery, and the power of story. Her first book, The Modern Trauma Toolkit, will be released in spring 2023 through Hachette Go (US) and John Murray (UK).

Christine is an integrated trauma and resilience specialist.
